So frickin' hot!!!!!

We got a message about 10 days ago telling us that they needed to make emergency repairs to the air conditioner unit that cools the basement and floors 1-3 of the library, where I work. The prediction was that the AC would be out for about 2 weeks. This wasn't too big of a deal last week, cuz it was still relatively cool out. But it heated up over the weekend, so that coming in to work today is kinda like being in an oven. It's actually only about 82 degrees in my boss' office, and I've got a fan going in my office to keep it cooler, but it's really very unpleasant to be here... *sigh*...

I suppose the good news is that this should be over by Friday, but I'm not counting on it... nothing gets done around here on time, and now that it looks like rain for most of the week, I'm sure the work will be further delayed... *sigh*...
