Well, I'm back at work after a long weekend... long weekends are great, though they do make coming back to work all the more difficult... :(

The Garou game on Friday was pretty kewl... my major accomplishment for the evening: I overbid a locked filing cabinet. Technically, as Halv pointed out to me, I didn't overbid the cabinet exactly, but it was still kewl to say that I did... :) Other than that, I spent most of the evening attempting to explain to a "Lupus" (he's not really Lupus, but everyone thinks he is) the finer points of money, CD players, and why it is a bad idea to attempt to get out of a moving vehicle... ;)

The Forgotten was pretty slow, mainly due to not a lot of people being there, and half of the game being "alt loc" (alternate location) for the majority of the evening. But I took my sidewalk chalk, so Dani and the Malkavians "decorated" the Elysium site, all the while claiming that the "Narc" (one of the Tremere) did it. Even when people walked in and saw Dani and the Malks with chalk in hand, we would point at the Narc and say "the Narc did it!" So there was quite a bit of interesting reading on the patio at the Student Center. Now what I had forgotten is that sidewalk chalk is frowned upon on our campus... even the student organizations aren't supposed to use it on the sidewalks... I don't know why! So when the building manager came out for a cigarette, I had a TON of players running up to me and asking me where the chalk was... luckily, I was standing out in the woods at this point, with the chalk in hand... :)

Dani and the Malks also took a fun and exciting excursion to Wal-Mart... and unfortunately, this is when I was informed that there are Spider Man web shooters (they actually shoot silly string) that you can buy at Wal-Mart... so on Sunday, I made the Old Man take me to both Wal-Marts in the area, and Kay-Bee, and K's Merchandise... all of them were sold out of these nifty little devices... so I'm REALLY wanting one, and can't have one... *pout*... damn you, Ryan! Never tell the ScaryWhiteGirl about a toy that she can't have... :(

Broken Sword was similarly slow, again due to lack of players. But I did manage to accomplish most of what I had set out to do, at least to the extent that I could. Morgan actually threw her weight around a little bit, pulling rank on a couple of people! Nothing major, just insisting on the respect that should be due to a Bishop... the fun part, of course, was pulling rank on members of one of the packs, one of said members mouthing off to me, and then finding out that I was a Bishop... silly new players... they should really find out who is who before they run their mouths... :)

Fury of the Forsaken is coming up this weekend, and I can't wait! Now that most of the characters have been turned in and approved, I get to focus less on the character Nazi aspect of being an ST, and more on the plot aspect... w00t! :)
