1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not? I am the textual editor for the Ulysses S. Grant Association (and I run the webpage!). What this means in English is that I work in historical editing, which is very very different from other editing (like newspaper editing). My job is mostly a bunch of secretarial stuff, but I also do some research, sometimes...
This is very much what I chose to be doing, and I'm glad that I came to southern Illinois when I did, cuz everything just fell into place from there on out! :)

2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be? Anything where I could stay at home and work while wearing my pajamas. I dunno why, I just like the idea of working in my pajamas... :)

3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices? My dad is an electronic engineer (not the same as an electrical engineer), and my mom was a housewife for most of my life, but is now a bookkeeper at a church. About the only influence it had on my career choices is that I knew I didn't want to have a job like my dad's, cuz he often has to work outside in the summer... yucky!

4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family? Nope!

5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why? Believe it or not, "flipping burgers" is NOT the easiest job in the world... I did that for long enough to know! :) I think some of the people that work on the first floor in the library have it pretty good though... they mostly sit around all day, and then they have some sort of meetings at least once a week. Sometimes more often than that!
Hardest job? Anything with lots of math... I soooo hate having to do all the accounting type stuff around here. But that's probably high on my list of things I hate because I had to do a lot of it yesterday!

::..::

I don't have any good quotes for the "End of the Work Week Wisdom"... feel free to drop one in my comments... :)

So Rafe is getting antsy about the Sabbat game, cuz I keep talking about it... which means I'm going to keep talking about it more and more and more... :) I had another good idea for my background while I was laying down after work yesterday... didn't actually work on my background any though, that's what I'm doing tonight! :) I feel sooooo sorry for Jason and Nick... my background was almost four full pages, double spaced, when I finished working on it on Wednesday night... with all of the new ideas I've got, it's easily gonna hit 10, if not more. Gabe's background (which goes with mine) is 4 pages, double spaced, and he has more to work on. And then we have to write the combined part of our background... so I wouldn't be surprised if this whole think runs close to 20 pages... though if we single space it, only half that... :)

And I soooo cannot wait for the Forgotten this week. Things are simmering quite interestingly, and are sure to start boiling over on Saturday night... lotsa fun and chaos! Just what the little Ravnos loves! :)
