Well, I finally got to go see "Corpse Bride," and it was good! :) It's not "Nightmare Before Christmas," but it was rather good in its own right, and I think I'll pick it up when it comes out on DVD. It just seems fitting to my collection. :)

I also watched "Pump Up the Volume," which I have seen many times before, and caught part of "Blade Runner," which I have seen portions of many times before. I don't think I've ever sat through the entirety of the latter, oddly enough. It's not that I don't like it, it's just one of those movies that was on TV a lot when I was growing up, and I had seen enough bits and pieces of to think that I had seen the whole thing. :)

Planning on picking up "Batman Begins" when it comes out this week, because it was super good. Other than that, not too many movies in my immediate future, though when J and I saw the preview for the new Harry Potter movie, we actually talked about maybe watching the movies, even if we don't read the books. He's pretty sure his mom has the first few; if not, I'm sure my mom does... :)

In other news, Halloween is in two weeks, and I'm excited as all hell! It looks like I'm gonna miss a few local things (wine tasting the day I have to drive to St. Louis, the big party that Saturday, and after-Halloween shopping, in particular), but I'm okay with that. The stuff I have planned for Seattle will make up for it... :)

So you thought Batman Begins was good? I havent seen it yet. But in all fairness, it shouldnt be called Batman Begins, but instead Batman Never Ends. Christian Bale is pretty cool though. Have you seen American Psycho? It is his best I think. Acting I mean. This girl I look at as more than a friend loved it because of the dark comedic ending. If you saw it youd know what i meant. But if you havent you must watch.

Hells yeah... I still like the original a whole lot, but this one was really good... after we saw it, J and I were gonna move to Tibet and become ninjas... :)
(I don't care if you don't go to Tibet to become ninjas, that's where we were going... :) )
