Ummm... wow.

So I have purple hair now.

I dyed my hair purple about 3 1/2 years ago, pretty much on a whim. That became the "no one leaves with their natural hair color intact" party, where everyone who came over to my apartment ended up doing something odd to their hair. (This was, of course, when I lived with Nathan and he was dating Jesi. If you know them, this makes sense. If you don't, suffice it to say it was their hair dye we were all using.)

Tonight ended up being the same thing, just on a much smaller scale. Jerome is currently rinsing out his hair, which is bright red again. And mine is purple. I'm actually a bit alarmed at how purple it is, as the dye I used was called "burgundy wine," and looked, well, burgundy in the bottle.

I should also point out that we don't bleach our hair before dyeing it odd colors. Jerome's hair is light colored enough that his really takes dye well. Mine is dark enough, though, that it normally DOESN'T take the odd colored dye... or so I thought. Luckily, it's a long weekend, and if it's too obnoxious, I'll just wash my hair with cheap shampoo to fade it faster.
