Things and stuff

1) Snow in Seattle when you're trying to get to the train station and getting a bit lost sucks.
2) Snowy slush in Portland when you decide to walk to the hotel sucks.
3) Being in Portland when you want to be in Seattle REALLY sucks.

Though I guess not EVERYTHING here sucks. I did get to go to Powell's Books last night, the food has been relatively tasty, and they ALMOST have toasted ravioli here. But fried ravioli with no breading on it is just not the same. *sigh*

And at this point, it's less than 48 hours till I'm back in Seattle. Yes, there is a countdown going.

Aw, I love Portland tho I don't know how I'd do there in the snow. There's Close Knit, a yarn store, and Bolt, a fabric store, on Alberta (or is Hawthorne) and those 2 streets in general are full of great coffee shops, funky boutiques & crafty stuff. & Stumptown! & that crazy donut place! I hope you had an okay time for the rest of your stay at least.
