Back and such. I was sick-ish on Thursday, and stayed home. On Friday, I was busy for most of the day, and then cut off from my computer for the rest of the day. Today, I was still cut off from my computer all morning. There are still problems with it. But I haven't seen the Systems guy since 10 a.m.... whee...
So I had a pretty nice weekend, all around. Friday night was Deadlands, though it was a small game. Emilia almost got to become Queen of the Fairies, until they convinced me I wouldn't last five minutes with that job. :) She ended up getting knocked out in combat, which was fine, cuz I needed to leave... but I dunno what ended up happening.
Saturday, I got up at 5 a.m. so I could catch a ride to Springfield to see my friend Dubs compete in the Highland games thingie... it was fun, but god I was tired... because after Springfield, we went to E-ville for Ashes, and didn't end up leaving E-ville till about 1 a.m. I stumbled into my apt. at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Craziness!
But the Ashes game was a LOT of fun, especially with about 10 characters from C-dale being there. We sat around and made fun of the locals. Good times... "checkpoint!"
Working out my plans for the week. Tonight is either D&D playtesting or the normal wrestling. Tomorrow, I may or may not be hanging out with my sister. Wednesday appears to be open, and I may do laundry that night, just cuz. Thursday, I'm probably going to the Marion HS graduation, and Friday, I'm probably going to the Murphysboro HS graduation, and then seeing X3. Saturday is still in the air, as is Sunday. Next Monday is the Day of Meat. Most people call it Memorial Day. We do not. :)

Had a great weekend all around, and finally got to see "Gigantic," which is the TMBG documentary. It was very kewl, and lots of random. I like random. :)
At work every day this week, which means it will probably be a long week... *sigh*... got lots to do, too, which adds to that. Good news is that I've already gotten one chunk of stuff done, and can probably get another chunk done tomorrow... in theory, at least... :)
Oh, we got to start both of the new TT games that I'm playing in this weekend. Deadlands on Friday, hunter on Saturday.
The Deadlands game was a good time. Most of the game was character creation, but I've definitely already got the hang of my character, Emelia, which is fun. She's a mad scientist, and I've already turned in one potential invention... I'm planning to make a utility belt, a la Batman, sooner or later... :)
The hunter game was also a good time, though there was much character creation all throughout the day. Jericho is already proving to be considerably more coherent than River, but that's quite alright. Someone needs to be coherent and bold... mostly bold. :) And yeah, the Telepathy numina is RIPPED! One more level, and I can get into peoples' heads even if they're in another room... wow...
Oh, and in other fun gaming news, I've got 5 of the remaining 6 Vampire books that I didn't own winging their way to me as I type. That means I only need to track down one more book, and I will own a version of every Vampire book, from 1st edition through revised. This is ricockulous. However, what is more ricockulous is the likelihood of me finding that one last book... because, of course, it's a 1st ed. book. *sigh*
I'm also going to need a bigger Vampire shelf... :)

And, the Chicago trip is off. Ah well. It would have been super kewl to get to go, but as neither Dubs nor I was willing to drive in Chicago, and Starr can't go now, we were left with no other option. This just means I get to stay here and game... so I won't complain too much. :)
Today, I'm kinda surprised that I'm as awake as I am. Ended up going to The Cellar last night, and staying about an hour and a half longer than I originally planned. There is a time warp there, I'm thinking. Either that, or that second game of pool I played really did take forever... that's what happens when you put two people who mostly suck at pool against each other. I did get some pretty sweet shots now and again, but I also had some REALLY bad shots. Then again, the last time I remember playing pool for sure was when I beat Dominic... that would have been the summer of 1995... wow... (and yes, while it is weird for me to remember this somewhat distinctly, it is remembered more for my dear brother's comment of "you got beat by a dumb girl," than for anything else.)
I have a STACK of borrowed movies right now, which I think I shall attempt to get around to tomorrow night. Well, that'll take care of maybe two of them, if I start watching them early enough. Three borrowed movies, and the one last one that I bought myself as a birthday present... so two tomorrow, and the other two, who knows when... :)
And I'm starting to play two new TT games this weekend... Deadlands and what more or less boils down to a WoD: Mortals game (old edition, not nWoD). Both seem promising. I have my character concepts for both, but that's about it. Ah well, this weekend will be all about the character creation and number crunching... :)
