Gah! Where has this year gone? By the end of this month, we will have been in Seattle for 6 months already, and I'll have been at my job for 6 months as well! That's just craziness!
Interestingly enough, 2 years ago today was the day I flew back to St. Louis after my first visit to Seattle. Ah, memories. :)
I'm heading out in about half an hour to go down to Stir, where I will be for the next 5+ hours. I left home when it was still dark this morning, and I don't go home till well after dark tonight. *sigh*
Aside from all the writing I need to do this weekend, though, I think it's gonna be a nice, laid back weekend. There isn't anywhere that I have to be the whole time, just Changeling on Saturday (which doesn't feel like an obligation of any sort). :)

And I'm back...
So a quick weekend recap:
1) Craft fair was very slow, though I did enjoy getting to chat with Anandi all day, and thanks to her, I have now perfected my coffee cup cozy pattern. Hurrah! :)
2) Changeling game that night was somewhat slow, because of the huge mass combat, but I think my character has moved from "another Eshu" to "hey, she's useful." This is an important thing when it comes to a game like this one. :)
3) Got my display all set up for the show at Stir on Thursday, and I got to pick up my mannequin. Though I've been flip-flopping on the name a bit, I think I've decided now. Everyone, meet Nadia. :)
I still need to do a little work on her makeup, and she totally needs a wig, because right now, she just looks like some extremely pale gypsy boho chick. :) Jerome does not like her, and doesn't know why she needs a name. He also tells me that she sometimes moves when I'm not looking. I think he's fibbing. :)
So yeah, she's banished to the corner behind the bookcase at the moment, but I like how she looks there. She looks like she's just casually leaning up against the bookcase, waiting for something. She's so aloof. ;)

Two new articles from Cindy:
Is Mystery Shopping the Job for You?
Do You Have What It Takes to Make Your Marriage Stand the Test of Time?
The latter of these two is written somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but she's absolutely right. She actually mentioned this to me while we were talking one day, and that night, I told Jerome that he could have his fleece blanket, and I would take the normal sheet (which has since been supplemented by an afghan on my side). Neither of us wake up to no blankets anymore, unless we kicked them off of ourselves in a moment of silliness. It's very nice. :)
And I also have two articles:
Getting Ready to Play in a LARP: Demystifying Live Action Role Playing
I'm really trying to write as many articles as I can come up with for LARP related stuff, as I would like very much to be known for my knowledge about LARP... this one was pretty easy to write... :)
Why I Like Avenged Sevenfold: Sounds Like '80s Hair Metal
I was planning on writing this article anyway, and then they put out a special offer where you get paid a flat rate if your article references someone else's article. Hurrah for getting paid to disagree with people about music!!! :)
::..::
In other news, it's cold out, and our heat is not working properly... I called the landlord yesterday, though, so hopefully he will have someone look at it today.

Crazy busy gaming weekend, involving three LARPs. This ended up equaling Jerome and I losing our characters (and making new ones), me becoming a Harpy again, and me becoming a Ductus through the cunning use of lies (not flags). But hey, no one has checked me yet to see if I'm a big liar. Because that character is. :)
It's a month to DragonCon now, and Abney Park and Ego Likeness are confirmed. This means I'm going to be seeing 3 of my favorite bands/artists in the world, along with 2 bands that I like quite a bit. I am happy. :)
With DragonCon a month away, this means I'm working on costumes like a madwoman. Right now, it looks like I'm doing four costumes and one other outfit over the course of three days.
Friday night, it'll be Death from Sandman. I had to find a new pair of black jeans, but I still had everything else I needed for that costume.
Saturday day, it'll be Kaylee from Firefly. I still need to find one or two patches for her jumpsuit, and make sure that I can do my hair in the little buns that she does in the pilot episode. And sew the patches on. And maybe find a necklace that looks good. Maybe.
Saturday night, it depends on who is playing. Most likely, though, this will just be the night that I goth out.
Sunday day, I think I'm going with Alice from America McGee's Alice, only because I already have every piece of that costume. :)
Sunday night, which is when I suspect AP will be playing, I will probably revive my Dark Green Fairy costume that I wore for their last show that I got to see, though it will be undergoing some serious modifications, mainly for the different season and climate. I want to try to make some yarn hair falls, but I'm not sure how feasible that will be. I need a different shirt, so I may go back to Goodwill to pick up something I saw on Saturday. And I really should rethink the stripey tights, because it's likely to be too hot for those... I'm definitely rethinking the armwarmers. :)
But yeah, that's gonna be a lot of clothes to pack, particularly as it involves a couple of large dresses/poofy skirts. The good news, of course, is that Jerome will prolly cram all of his stuff into one bag, leaving plenty of trunk space for Jesi and I. w00t! :)
::..::
In other news, you would think that putting three adults and two cats into a tiny two bedroom apartment would get a bit crowded, but we're making a pretty decent go of it. Still need another bookcase, but we're working on how we can get that... :)

It's beginning to look like I only post about once a week. Ah well, I guess that's okay, since my day to day life is rarely exciting enough that it requires daily posts to keep you all updated.
So, stuff since the last time I posted...
1) Jerome, Jesi, and I are going to DragonCon in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. So far, this is looking to be an exceptionally good and interesting time. I haven't been to a REAL con in ages, and the last one of those I was at, I was running a temperature of over 100 degrees, and was basically delirious the whole time. Getting sick the day before you're supposed to leave for a con sucks. :(
Any rate, yeah. We will be seeing The Cruxshadows, Voltaire, and The Last Dance play, along with the possibility of also seeing Abney Park and/or Ego Likeness play. Just the top three make me happy. The possibility of the other two as well make me super happy! :) Aside from the bands, there are a whole crapton of panels to go to, and there will also be drum circles, which equals belly dancing. w00t! :) Gaming? Nah... we prolly won't do much of that... just because it's a gaming convention, that doesn't mean a damn thing... ;)
2) Moxie is doing well after being spayed last week. She's still sorta walking slower than usual, and not jumping around as much, and we have to keep telling Vlad that he can't play with Momma how they usually play, but other than that, she's good. :) I suspect that when the time comes for Vlad to get neutered, he'll have a much easier time of it... :)
3) Been doing a lot of cleaning and getting rid of crap I don't need recently. And if anyone who reads this is interested in a pair of womens' size 5 black Doc Martens, E-mail me. :) I've got someone they MIGHT fit, but I think her feet are actually smaller than that...
4) Gaming all around is going pretty well. I'm in 4 LARPs now, and trying to get a TT game started. Still playing Daisy Green (Malkavian Prince) in Ashes and Dr. Luisa Dunsirn (Ventrue Seneschal... soon to be Prince) in Riddles. I started playing Mehnit (Serpent of the Light Priestess) in Echoes in the Night, which is a new Sabbat game in C-dale, and I will soon start playing Anastasia (Ravnos antitribu) in a new Sabbat game in Marion... or at least that's the plan. There's also a "waiting in the wings" LARP, in which I'll be playing Lola, a Daughter of Cacophany. w00t! :)
As for the TT game, well, it's supposed to be a Firefly / Serenity game. Unfortunately, only Jerome has finished making his character so far... and I technically only have 2 players... and I don't have a night to run that, either... *sigh*... I also wanna run Werewolf, and I started a one-shot Sabbat TT game that never got finished with Jerome, Bobert, and Morgan.
::..::
And that's about it in my life... well, at least the bits that I'm sharing with the world... :)

Been an odd week at work this week, with my boss out of town since Friday of last week, and only stopping by briefly in the morning tomorrow before leaving for the rest of the day. This all works out okay, though, because it's been an odd week all around... :)
The weekend was a nice one, though there was no Hunter, as suspected. Both Ashes on Friday and Riddles on Saturday seem to be exercising their right to the 27th letter of the alphabet, though considerably more peacably in Riddles. I could have been Prince in two games, had I wanted to, but I didn't, so I'm Seneschal in Riddles, under the person I told to declare Praxis... :)
(Speaking of Praxis, this has brought up an interesting point, and while I don't know that I will actually get anywhere with it, I intend on pushing the issue a wee bit... :) )
Ultimate Frisbee was craziness, and though I did have Steve on my team, we pretty well sucked. Randy didn't really know the rules, and Bobert hurt himself early on, and Jim plays without his glasses... so a bit of a disadvantage there... specially when the other team was Thor, Pleasure, Amber, and Jerome, who is sneaky good... like you don't expect it, but he's good. :)
Other than that, there was a lot of not sleeping all weekend, and then it was time to work again. :)
As per the usual, lots of stuff going on this week, and then also this weekend. And as per the usual, Thursday is my recovery day. No plans, early bedtime, it all works out. :) Oh, except that didn't happen last week... :) Ah well. :)
My music listening today has been odd... first I listened to all of my Misfits, then Postal Service, then Rob Zombie, and now Shakira. So yeah, ecletic. I like it. :)

So this was the weekend of "not-quite-as-planned". Nonetheless, a good weekend all around.
Friday night, I tried to go to Michael's graduation. The sun foiled my plan. So I drove back to Carbondale, and went to see my sister at work. I told her I was not at graduation (obviously), and that if she wanted to hang out till about 9:30 or so, I was free. Well, she told me that she and the Staples crew (which now includes some new gamers) were going to Mugsy's, and I should go with. So I did. And it was fun. :) But it meant I didn't see X-3 Friday night. That's okay, Megan said we could go see it Saturday when she got off work.
Saturday, we were going to play Hunter. That got cancelled, as Bobert had family in town. Then Megan texted me to cancel our plans to see X-3. So I went to the Student Center to find some unwitting LARPer to kidnap and take with me to X-3. This did not happen; instead, I ended up making a character and becoming Ventrue Primogen and Keeper of Elysium within about 30 minutes of entering play. Yeah, they're apparently that desparate for Kindred... ;) Afterwards, I went and drank with the boyz for a while, which was an excellent time. :)
Sunday, my dad and some of our family's friends were in town, and I was going to hang out with them, but that never happened. Then Megan was going to have me help her hem pants, but that never happened either. So I watched movies and quilted. Rockin' good time, let me tell ya. :)
Yesterday was Day of Meat, but I ate very little meat, and instead did sportsy type stuff. Ultimate Frisbee, regular frisbee, and bags. Whee! :) I'm surprising not all that sore, for all the running around I did. I did discover, however, that I'm highly out of shape. :( But Thor says we're gonna do Ultimate Frisbee every couple of weeks, so I'm totally down, and hopefully can get into better shape as a result. Mostly, I'm in okay shape, I just can't run without getting badly winded... and that sucks... :(
This week is already shaping up nicely. Tonight, I do the usual Tuesday stuff. Tomorrow, I will likely be going through bags of soon to be discarded clothing from abnormal (but still appreciated) sources. Thursday appears to be open, so that will be the night I make the bags for our own set of bags. Jim says he will have the boards done by Friday. This will rock muchly. :)

Back and such. I was sick-ish on Thursday, and stayed home. On Friday, I was busy for most of the day, and then cut off from my computer for the rest of the day. Today, I was still cut off from my computer all morning. There are still problems with it. But I haven't seen the Systems guy since 10 a.m.... whee...
So I had a pretty nice weekend, all around. Friday night was Deadlands, though it was a small game. Emilia almost got to become Queen of the Fairies, until they convinced me I wouldn't last five minutes with that job. :) She ended up getting knocked out in combat, which was fine, cuz I needed to leave... but I dunno what ended up happening.
Saturday, I got up at 5 a.m. so I could catch a ride to Springfield to see my friend Dubs compete in the Highland games thingie... it was fun, but god I was tired... because after Springfield, we went to E-ville for Ashes, and didn't end up leaving E-ville till about 1 a.m. I stumbled into my apt. at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Craziness!
But the Ashes game was a LOT of fun, especially with about 10 characters from C-dale being there. We sat around and made fun of the locals. Good times... "checkpoint!"
Working out my plans for the week. Tonight is either D&D playtesting or the normal wrestling. Tomorrow, I may or may not be hanging out with my sister. Wednesday appears to be open, and I may do laundry that night, just cuz. Thursday, I'm probably going to the Marion HS graduation, and Friday, I'm probably going to the Murphysboro HS graduation, and then seeing X3. Saturday is still in the air, as is Sunday. Next Monday is the Day of Meat. Most people call it Memorial Day. We do not. :)

Wow.
I am currently constructing what may end up being the strangest background I've ever written. The writing part isn't necessarily all that strange (though I do have some interesting bits that I still need to cover that could get strange), but the format is definitely out of the ordinary for me. As per the usual, I'm keying various parts of the background to appropriate song lyrics, which are already burned to a CD. What may make this unusual is that I may end up scrambling the 14 sections around to fit a somewhat more logical progression. Except that it wouldn't be logical, exactly...
It's very hard to explain without giving out the details, but I'd rather keep the details a secret. A few select people have heard about the truth behind the story, but yeah, since I'm playing the character currently, I'd much rather keep the truths to myself (and a select group who have already heard them).
Quick version, though, for those who are interested hearing about the non-confusing part of the character: Daisy Green, Malkavian architect. If you've read House of Leaves, it's the daughter from that novel, as a real person, and all grown up. She's also, for those who know the name/reputation, the third(*) coming of Dr. Lucas Webster.
Yeah, that's right. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
I've been wanting to play this character for a while now, and I'm finally getting the chance. *happy dance*
We'll see how it all pans out...
::..::
(*) The second coming was already taken. Cross Burchelli handled that quite nicely. :)

Well, good weekend all around, even with three games over the course of two days. About all I could have asked for was more time to sleep, but I managed to get enough sleep last night that it's not too bad today. I'll probably be fairly tired by the time I get home from wrestling tonight, but that'll be okay. :)
The Deadlands game was a good time, and my character may have acquired herself a unicorn. Yeah, I know, really bizarre, but fun too! :) Unfortunately, I'm missing the next game, so I dunno what's gonna happen with the unicorn. We had to leave off in the middle of a scene, when we realized it was 10 after 1, and the building closed at 1. No one came up to give us the 15 minute warning, so we got a bit caught up in things. :)
Hunter on Saturday was also fun, though a bit frustrating, as we all nearly died. The dice were not with us. :( I was also a bit tired by the end of that game.
LARP on Saturday went very well, especially after I had a soda with my dinner... :) We got five brand new players, and Jesi has now joined the game, so we had 23 people signed in, which may be a record for this game. w00t! :) Slowly but surely, I'm catching up on what's going on in that game, and thus am becoming able to run more and more stuff.
Worked on a bunch of crochet on Friday night, but there's still more to do. Need to go shopping at some point this week for birthday gifts, as there are three birthdays in my family this week: Nathaniel's tomorrow, and Sarah and Darci-Anna's on Sunday. Maybe I'll do that tonight before class, if I'm not too lazy... :)
.

So only OWBN this past weekend, and it was disappointing as all hell. I accomplished about nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm taking a break from that game for a while. Maybe for good. That still remains to be seen. But there's just not much holding me there anymore. Most of my really good friends have quit playing, and though I am friends with some of the people who still play, that's not even enough to keep me there. The game itself is pretty much uneventful, unless you're a big time fighter, and, well, if I just wanted to do combat, we'd do more Battle Royales.
So yeah. Disappointing, but ah well.
Had a good time last night talking to Ventura about old TT games, and, of course, I really miss running Vampire now. True, I've got a LARP to help run, but there's something special about TT. :(
Plenty of work to do for the Cammie LARP, but I need Jim's help to finish it, so hopefully I'll hear from him soonishly about his work schedule. Probably won't know anything till I get off work today, but that's okay. My schedule this week is pretty well open... got plans tomorrow night, but if we have to have our ST meeting then, it will actually work, because my plans are of a somewhat tag-along nature, though not, at the same time. It's complicated. :)

Well, my return to STing was, in fact triumphant, or at least successful. Good game overall, the players had fun, and I wasn't completely frazzled afterwards. All of these are good things.
Got to bring in two of my NPCs, Cozette Riviera (Toreador dilletante) and Khadijah Ingram (new Tremere regent... and Jedi... yes, you read that right... :) ). Cozette spent most of her time getting people to do nice things for her, because she has money to throw at problems. So she now has a Gangrel bodyguard until July, and promises of being taught Dominate by the entirety of Clan Tremere. :) And the Toreador like her already too. :)
Khadijah, on the other hand, was a bit more sedate, but she did talk at least a few things through with the Prince, and then got to kick some ass in combat. She has four people who have already asked about becoming her Paduwan, now that they all know she's a Jedi. With a lightsaber.
And yeah, I know that sounds kinda cheezy. But, as J put it at wrap-up: "There's a lot of crack in this game. But it's the most well-manicured crack I've ever seen." So yeah, as long as people are having fun with it, I'm good with it. And there is more to Khadijah... can't give everything away on the first night, though... ;)
So yeah, I'm looking forward to finding out some more about plots and stuff, so that I can be a more effective ST, and not just portray my NPCs. :) Though the latter is fun, and I've come up with a great plan for costuming each of them differently without too many difficult costume changes. Basic black shirt and pants, with something to throw on over that for each character.
Now, as long as I can get the pink stains out of Khadijah's robe... this is why we check our pockets three or four times for blood tickets at the end of the night... *sigh*...

Well, only the OWBN game this past weekend, but it was a doozy. Mel spent most of the night trying to deflect Vermin's affections. Then she had the brilliant plan of asking G-Lo to see if he could find Christian as a wraith... and then all hell broke loose in her unlife... because apparently G-Lo thinks he found him... and Christian's wraith might now be coming to find Mel... joy...
Well, I guess it's something to do. Since stepping down as Prince, Mel's unlife has been entirely too tame... ;)
Working on the first set of in-weeks for the Cammie game since becoming an ST, and they're going relatively smoothly. There's a considerable amount that I need Jim's help with, though, so here's hoping he's free either tomorrow or Thursday night... planning to find that out tonight, though, and get some info from him if he doesn't have a free night this week. So we should be mostly good.
Still don't know what happened to my post from Friday... that's driving me nuts...

Multi-topic update! Whee! :)
Gaming: Well, Viridian died in the indy Cammie game on Saturday night. This was somewhat intentional, as I knew OOC that the other players were gunning for the Regent, and Viridian was likely to be collateral damage. I was also asked to step up as an ST in that game, which I did. So losing my character was okay... :)
Big change, though, going from 6 characters to 2. One of which I only play every other month. Ah well, that's alright. I have noticed in the past that my creativity and desire to write increases when I'm STing, so I consider this a good thing. :)
Music: Jesi played a band called The Horrorpops for me yesterday. Must check out more. She also played "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas," and she, Bobert, and I were all singing along. Classic. :)
Crafts: The craft fair yesterday blew chunks. I dunno if we need to work on our selection of craft fairs, our selection of crafts, or what, but it was just sad and pathetic. I'm trying to look into going to some different craft fairs, but I haven't been able to find one of the ones that was recommended to me, and it's still a bit too early for the other ones.
But the Kool-Aid drink pouch bags that Cindy's friend's daughter-in-law made were popular, so I'm definitely looking into making my own to sell. But I need a new sewing maching for that... I haven't decided yet what my February purchase will be, as I was waiting till after the craft fair... still haven't decided... the sewing machine is the likely choice, though...
In other news, it's exceptionally warm here lately, which will last another day, I believe. Then we'll be back to winter, and I will whine some more. :)

Got one crochet project done last night, and another one started. The finished project is kinda a sekrit surprise, so no details here. The other one I started is the Jayne hat, from Firefly. I'm not 100% pleased with the pattern I'm using, so I'll be looking for a new one, but it is turning out decently well. Of course, the original is a knitted hat with earflaps, and mine will be crocheted, but it'll work out okay, I think. Especially if I can find the right kind of pattern. Or I may be able to work up my own, based on the one I'm using presently.
I need to work on making some more Valentines for the craft fair, which I may do tonight, if I have some time. Supposed to be going to an OWBN workshop at Denny's, but my car wouldn't start this morning. I'm hoping it was just the cold affecting the battery, and that it'll start fine after work today. If not, I guess I'll be trying to find a way to get it over to the dealership in the morning, and let them tell me if it's the battery (my best guess) or the starter (god I hope not). At any rate, thank goodness for being under warranty... :)
Speaking of Valentines, yeah, I'm gonna hafta work on something else for that... I just don't have any good ideas at the moment. What do you give someone for Valentine's Day that is a little bit practical, but still handmade? If I can't come up with something fitting both of those criteria, I'm gonna go with practical but store-bought, because there is a limit to how many ultimately useless handmade objects you can give someone. Yeah, I know, the handmade stuff comes from the heart and all that, but seriously. I know there is a limit. :)
Hmmmm... something to ponder for a bit, I suppose...

Well, only OWBN this past weekend, and it was formal Elysium. Mel ended up dropping $300,000 on two items, but as that was money that the Giovanni had given her, it wasn't too bad. She also handed off some money to Moonbeam, I think another $100,000, because Moonbeam was bidding heavily on the Oreos. Which she won. :)
Year old Oreos. $10,000. That's what you get when the Toreador auctioneer says he MIGHT throw in a kiss... :)
Unfortunately, rushing before game and miscommunication caused some difficulties, but don't they always? The good news is that it got mostly sorted out, and now I just need to make sure that the STs get a write-up on the whole Elysium security thing and S.U.K.E. Never thought I'd appreciate something that Mel's damn childe did for her, but I do... :)
In other gaming news, I've been vaguely pondering running a girls only D&D game, running it at the same time J runs his boys only D&D game. Granted, this started out as kind of a joke, but if there's enough interest, I might do it... would be a bit of work, though, as I don't really know 3rd ed all that well... so we'll have to see about that.
I'm not surprised that I'm really liking this whole only two local LARPs thing, with a third that runs every other month. I think I mentioned before that I had gotten up to six LARPs briefly. That was insanity. I'll probably want more in a bit, but for now, 2 (1/2) is good. :)
And in other other news, I should be in a better mood than I am in at the moment. Life is good, the sun is shining, and I finally got the Lincoln book completed to the point where I could send it to the other editor. I'm just grumpy for no apparent reason. I'm sure I'll get over it. :)

Busy at work today, but folding 400 pieces of paper into envelope size is tedious, at best, and rough on the fingers. So I'm taking a break. :)
Cammie game on Saturday night, which was good stuff. We're slowly but surely working our way through one of the plots, which necessitates a major combat every game. This isn't all bad, as we're getting somewhere with the plot. 3 down, 3 to go. I suspect two of the remaining three will be insanely hard. This last one was no cake walk. But we'll figure something out. We always do, even if it is "fuckin' anorexic," like the plan for #2. :)
OSBN was Sunday night, and though we had to wrap early, it was still good times. Read some tarot cards for a few people, and decided that the magic 8 ball either works for the Sabbat, lies, or is broken. :) Still haven't managed to get Dani re-Acknowledged, but she got adopted by the Malkavians, so it shouldn't be too difficult. That, and she is really and truly Cam, she's just cranky about it sometimes. Oh, and there was MUCH madness with the D situation, but hey, whatcha gonna do... we're operating on ancient false history at this point, but it's hard to get over it... for both of us, in our own ways... :) Traveller (Jim) and I had a nice little heart to heart, after he tried to take away my straw, which somehow had shaped itself into a D... ;)
Anyways, yeah, lotsa work to do for real work, and an Elysium for OWBN on Friday. I'm finally in a position where I don't have to plan anything IC, but I'm helping Jim with a project OOC, which I need to get done ASAP. Probably tomorrow. That should do. :)

Well, let's see here... game recap...
Friday night was OWBN, and Mel stepped down as Prince. And the weight off of my shoulders and hers was IMMENSE. It was wonderful. :) And then I got to have a fun, scandalous scene with G-Lo (Angelo Giovanni, to those who aren't his close personal friends)... and another fun, scandalous (though in a totally different way) scene with Vermin. ;) Mel's unlife is going to be interesting now, I think... :) But at least she got rid of the target before it got the best of her... :)
Saturday night was the final game for Where Angels Fear to Tread, and it was a good time. Combat heavy, but there was a lot of fun stuff too, like running around in Horrid Form and having a race to see who could Embrace the most people in five minutes... :) It's sad to see the game go, to a certain extent, but, at the same time, it had been so long since we had gotten anything accomplished in that game, it was really fairly disappointing... we just couldn't win... (except then we did... odd, that...)
This weekend, there's Cammie game on Saturday, and Old School on Sunday. Definitely looking forward to both of those... :)

Gah! No work on Monday + lots of movie and game stuff to mention = we cram it all into a summary post today! :)
So, movies:
Watched "Boondock Saints" because Michael had never seen it, and it was still good. He liked it too, except for when he fell asleep... I blame narcolepsy. Cuz how could you fall asleep during that movie?!
Over the weekend, I watched "Eurotrip," "Equilibrium," and "Wedding Crashers" with Clint. The first and third were both very funny, though the first was funnier than the third. "Equilibrium" was much better than I was anticipating, because I had been told it sucked. But yeah, Christian Bale is yummy, and he kicks a whole lotta ass in that movie. That character might, in fact, be kewler than Batman... ;)
As for games:
Played Paducah Sabbat on Saturday (even though it was originally cancelled) and had a relatively good game, though small. Devyn got a diablerie that got her nothing, really, but 2 XP. Whee, and stuff. :)
Was gonna play Paducah OWBN on Sunday, but it ended up being cancelled. *sigh* Ah well. I guess now I just have to go down there for their next game... and maybe finish my background before then, so I can get Acknowledged at the next formal court... :)
Got C-dale OWBN this Friday, and C-dale Sabbat this Saturday. Both of which are very different from their Paducah counterparts. But that's okay. I guess. :)
::..::
In other news, I get to go to jury duty this afternoon... yay, and stuff. So if I disappear for a bit, it might mean that they actually put me on a jury... scary thought, no? :)
