So I was flipping through my copy of Mexico City by Night last night, when I discovered something unusual. They list both a proofreader and an editor for this book. *gasp*... does that mean that White Wolf has actually decided to put a little more time and effort into their products? Perhaps this is the case, since I don't really recall finding any HORRIBLE errors in Mexico City by Night... maybe I should double check it for them... :)

Yet every time I pick up Encyclopedia Vampirica, another glaring error jumps out at me... found a misspelling of Giovanni last night... alas, it wasn't Ghivanni... that would have made me happy... :)

Must check up on the other White Wolf books I've gotten recently... maybe they're finally concerned with printing books that don't make me mad... :)

Oooh, oooh! I'm all excited cuz they got the Halloween stuff out at Wal-Mart, and I found the kewlest ankh last night! It's all cheap plastic and stuff, but it looks really neat and has a purple gem looking thingie on it... and with the chain it's on, hangs down almost to my belly button... but it's yet another ankh for my collection!

And I'm all psyched because I get to play Jubilee tonight! This is my first ever Malkavian character, and she's Malkavian antitribu at that... so it's bound to be a trip. The only thing I'm concerned about is that I don't want people to think that "wacky" is the only thing I can play... cuz Dani is pretty wacky, and Jubilee has that potential as well... I would simply like to state, she is NOT a fuzzy bunny Malk... and any similarities between her and Dani are purely coincidental. I think, though, that her two actual derangements (Obsession and Masochism) ought to help me NOT play her too off the wall... at least that's what I'm going for! :)

Was playing around with new desktops at work yesterday, but all of them were far too dark and gloomy for my really dark monitor... yes, I've attempted to adjust it to not be so dark, and only made a slight improvement. Too much lighter, though, and the white will be blinding... that's no good! So I went back to the same old desktop I've always had... *sigh*...

And I must MUST MUST get to work on Jubilee's background tonight! And get it done, while I'm at it! Shouldn't be too much more work though... at this point, it's mainly an exercise in keeping it short and to the point, and not let myself go off on too many rambling tangents. I already had to take out one section, cuz it seemed really pointless... luckily, I worked the gist of it back into the main story, so that all my research didn't go completely to waste. I have a stack of about 40 pages that I printed out from the internet just to write this background... wow... :)

Sorry for the radio silence... the SWG has been a little sick (nothing to worry about, I got medicine now!)... but I'm back in action now! :)

The Forgotten Saturday didn't go exactly as planned. We accomplished what we set out to do, but in the end, it meant very little. Probably didn't help that due to me starting to be sick on Friday night, I was dead tired on Saturday night, so didn't stay for the whole game. It was looking like a big mass combat was about to break out anyway, and I hate HATE HATE mass combat! Specially since I'm a narrator, and might be needed to help with the running of it... no fun!

Now for a "who the fuck cares?" / public service announcement...

The concert I was trying to remember the other day is September 19th, at The Pageant (in St. Louis), and it's Unwritten Law, with The Juliana Theory, Aimee Allen, and a-fourforty. Right. I think The Juliana Theory was the other one that I thought I had heard of... though I can't figure out where... :)
